Impact documentation for civil society organisations promoting health equity across Africa

Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), social enterprises, grassroots organisations, and advocacy/community groups in Africa play a key role in the delivery of essential health services. Apart from health service delivery, these community-based organisations drive social change and amplify the voices of marginalised groups. Despite the shrinking funding landscape for international development projects, community-based organisations across Africa remain committed to serving their populations in a sustainable manner. Creating visibility for their work through impact stories becomes critical in ensuring they get the support they need.

As part of its commitment to collaborative learning in African countries, the Ubuntu Initiative at the George Institute for Global Health organized a capacity sharing workshop for community-based organisations interested in improving how they document and share their impact stories on 6th August 2025.
