Sudha Kallakuri has done her masters in Biotechnology from Padmavati Women’s university Tirupati.
She started her career at Clinigene international Ltd, a sister concern of Biocon, Bangalore. This involved conduct and monitoring of clinical trials. She joined George Clinical in 2010 as a CRA and worked on projects like UMPIRE and TRIUMPH which were academic clinical trial until 2014.
Then moved to George Institute for global health in 2014 June and started working in Smart mental health project which tried to address the gaps in seeking adequate healthcare for common mental disorders in rural communities of Andhra Pradesh through an innovative approach using mobile technology and electronic decision support system. She has successfully completed the project and am currently involved in Smart mental health GACD project, INDIGO study and PEN MEN study which is a seed grant which was secured by JK Lakshmi.
Her interests lie in serving the under privileged population and understanding the mental health issues among adolescents and women.
