Sharon is a Project Manager with the Critical Care Division, managing the Plasma-Lyte 148® versUs Saline (PLUS) Study. She has also been involved in ADRENAL, BLING II, HEAT and the TTM-Trial at The George Institute.
Sharon is a Registered Nurse with many years of experience in Intensive Care in both clinical and research coordination roles. She has experience in the coordination of investigator-initiated, collaborative group and sponsored trials. Whilst working in research, Sharon has coordinated studies in the areas of blood glucose control, renal failure, nutrition, severe trauma, traumatic brain injury, haemostasis, fluid resuscitation, antibiotic use, temperature management in cardiac arrest, sepsis, and barriers to documenting not-for-CPR orders.
