Dr Maryam Correa
Maryam is the Project Manager with the Critical Care and Trauma division for SuDDICU and FLUID TRIPS studies and has also been involved in ADRENAL, BLINGII, HEAT and CHEST as a Senior Clinical Research Associate.
She has over 12 years experience in clinical research and has previously worked as Clinical Trial Specialist in therapeutic fields of Leukaemia, lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and as a Clinical Trial Coordinator and Research Officer in therapeutic field of gastroenterology and hepatic disease.
Maryam has a PhD in anatomical aspects of the development of sense of taste in humans. Specifically developing a rapid and non-invasive procedure for quantifying fungiform papillae on the anterior tongue of humans, both in laboratory and clinical settings.
