Helen is Director of Global Project Operations, Global Program Manager for the Women’s Health Program and holds an Adjunct Senior Lecturer position at UNSW.
She has more than 25 years’ experience working on academic investigator-initiated RCTs at the Yorkshire Clinical Trials Unit, Clinical Trial Service Unit at the University of Oxford and Imperial College, all in the UK. Helen joined The George Institute in September 2000 as Senior Project Manager on the landmark ADVANCE trial and post-trial observational ADVANCE-ON study.
Helen has worked on many multicentre clinical trials, and leads a large project operations team of around 80 staff in Australia, China and India.
In the Global Women’s Health Program, Helen has leadership role in the program to coordinate and support a growing global team across our offices in Australia, China, India, and the UK. As Global Program Manager, Helen drives The George Institute’s work across research, policy, advocacy, thought leadership and disruptive entrepreneurship portfolios as well as being responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of the Global Women’s Health Program Strategic and Action Plans.
