Caroline joined The George Institute in February 2014 as the Project Manager for the Ironbark Project – injury prevention in older Aboriginal people.
Caroline has considerable public health experience working in community health roles for international Non-Government Organizations in countries including India and Indonesia. Within Australia, she has completed a research project through The University of Sydney focusing on the quality of cardiovascular healthcare services available to rural Aboriginal communities. She has additionally worked as a Project Officer for Oxfam Australia’s ‘Close The Gap’ campaign.
Caroline’s research interests include community health in different cultural contexts, and the provision of appropriate and effective care to meet the needs of specific populations.
