Bindu Patel has a dual role as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Project Manager in the Health System Sciences department at the George Institute for Global Health.

Bindu has a particular interest in strengthening primary healthcare systems, and improving noncommunicable disease outcomes by addressing the combination of physical, social and behavioural determinants of health. Her current research aims are to improve implementation and scale-up strategies of quality improvement interventions that include integrated care models, health information technology and value-based interventions.

Bindu’s expertise include diverse methodological skills (quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods), expertise in epidemiological, clinical and interventional studies, and has extensive practical project management experience worldwide.
