Dr Amy Bestman is a Research Fellow, in the Injury Division at The George Institute for Global Health Australia. Dr Bestman is an Early Career Researcher with a PhD from Deakin University.

Dr Bestman’s work has been driven by a strong public health approach and has focused on the translation of research to practice and policy. Her research has focused on public health qualitative studies that address inequity in vulnerable populations such as children, disadvantaged communities, individuals experiencing gambling harm and, CALD population groups.

Dr Bestman currently works across several projects within the Injury Division, including the development of the National Injury Prevention Strategy.
