Join us for a seminar with Assistant Professor Borame Dickens (National University of Singapore), a leading researcher in microsimulation modelling for chronic disease prevention and recipient of the UNSW CVMM International Speaker Fellowship.

In this presentation, A/Prof Dickens will explore how virtual cohort modelling can be used to estimate the population-level impact of health interventions. Using potassium-enriched salt in Singapore as a case study, she will discuss implementation considerations, potential health benefits and risks, including implications for chronic kidney disease, and how modelling can support evidence-based public health decision-making.
