In 2017, The George Institute and UNSW entered a new strategic partnership to dramatically boost medical research in Australia and overseas. UNSW Sydney and The George Institute share a strategic vision for driving change through impactful research.
Peking University Health Science Center (PUHSC) is the first Medical Institution of Western medicine founded by Chinese Government. PUHSC is located in Xueyuan Rd, Haidian District, a cultural area with many universities. It is in the center of the well-known Zhong Guan Cun Hi-Tech Zone. PUHSC is a well-structured, multi-disciplined comprehensive medical education palace with a long history.
The China-Australia Partnership for Health was established in 2004 as a collaboration between The George Institute and PUHSC. The George Institute, China was officially launched in 2007. After eight years of collaboration and friendship and two years of negotiations, The George Institute and PUHSC officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the Peking University campus in 2012. This was renewed in 2017.

Located in the heart of London, Imperial is a multidisciplinary space for education, research, translation and commercialisation, harnessing science and innovation to tackle global challenges. The George Institute for Global Health has been in collaboration with Imperial College London since July 2020.
Manipal is one of India's leading academic and research institutions. It has been granted Institution of Eminence status by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
The George Institute begins a new collaboration with Manipal Academy of Higher Education in 2019.
