Postdoctoral Research Fellowship

We currently have on offer, a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in the Discovery and translation of evidence for new strategies to combat cardiovascular diseases.
This is a full-time postdoctoral fellowship, valued at $80,000 for suitably qualified candidates at The George Institute for Global Health. Proposed projects must fit within the broad sphere of study of the Institute's current National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Program Grant. The research done within this program will provide evidence about new methods of cardiovascular, neurological and renal disease risk assessment, prevention and treatment that will be relevant for millions of Australian patients and tens of millions worldwide. Positive results from this clinical research are expected to bring about rapid changes in clinical guidelines, public health initiatives and health service delivery.
