Thomas is a Conjoint Lecturer at the University of New South Wales and an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Sydney.
He has expertise in discrete-time simulation modelling in Type 1 diabetes, cardiovascular disease and obesity and its applications in health economics. He also specialises in economic evaluations. His research currently focuses on the economics of preventing high cost conditions in patients at high risk of chronic disease.
He currently holds the HCF Postdoctoral Fellowship in Health Economics.
