Putting the consumer first: Creating a consumer-centred health system for a 21st Century Australia

Australia’s healthcare system needs to be more transparent and accessible to put consumers at the centre of health decision making, says a joint report by The George Institute for Global Health and the Consumers Health Forum of Australia (CHF).

A roundtable of over 35 health experts hosted by both organisations called for a range of changes, including the development of a National Vision for Australia’s Health 2025 to set out the principles of consumer-centred health care.
