Misimi Kakoti

Misimi Kakoti is currently working as a Research Assistant (RA) with the Health Systems and Equity team at TGI. Her research interests lie in the intersection of gender, rights, and equity in health policy and systems. Currently, she is working on documenting community action in health in India with the method of Witness Seminar, and piloting the 8Quity checklist tool, among other equity-related projects. She has previously worked with the RES Unit at TGI. She also supports the Secretariat of the Health Equity Network India (HENI). Prior to this, she has worked with the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and ActionAid India.
