Elizabeth Millett is an Epidemiologist at the George Institute for Global Health at the University of Oxford.
She has a PhD and MSc in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). While at LSHTM she learned to manage and analyse large, linked datasets of anonymised electronic health records. Her research interests are in the use of these data to answer epidemiological questions which will improve patient health. She has also spent time at University College London (UCL) working on the Flu Watch study, and at the Respiratory Medicine Unit in the University of Oxford.
At the George Institute, Lizzie is using electronic health records and UK Biobank data to investigate differences between men and women in the assessment and treatment of, and risk factors for, cardiovascular disease.
