The Project Assistant is required to provide support to Project Manager and Study Team to efficiently and effectively implement the program of Action on Salt China (ASC)
This position will report to Project Manager directly.
Duties and Key Responsibilities
Providing support to the development of project workplan, timeline, budget, reports and other project documents required by donor, TGI headquarter and the China partners;
Providing support to the financial management of the ASC program, including payment, invoicing and others according to the financial policies required by relevant stakeholders;
Supporting Project Manager to develop and implement an effective communication strategy for ASC program, with the objectives of actively engaging important stakeholders as well as efficiently sharing project information and messages on salt reduction in China;
Contributing to the establishment and management of key ASC communication platforms, such as ASC website, ASC WeChat with the existing resources.
Contributing to relevant research, such as on how to engage key partners in salt reduction from communication perspective in UK;
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
Good at writing (English and Chinese) and communication
Exposed to public health programs and relevant global and national policies
Good understanding of NCD knowledge
Willingness and ability to travel.
Understanding of confidentiality and privacy laws and guidelines relevant to medical research.
