
Postgraduate Scholarship in Cardiovascular Diseases
A full-time PhD scholarship opportunity to the value of $25,000 per annum is available for a suitably qualified candidate to undertake research studies leading to a PhD. The scholarship is initially for 12 months but may be renewed subject to satisfactory progress and funding.
Funded by the Cardiovascular Division, The George Institute for Global Health to support research into the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, the PhD candidate will have the opportunity to work on various projects through the Cardiovascular Division of the George Institute for Global Health that seek to better understand and improve the outcome of patients with cardiovascular disease. It is desirable that applicants have experience working in research investigating ehealth for people with cardiovascular disease and with qualitative research and process evaluation.
Applicants must have completed an Honours and/or Masters Degree in Health and/or Social Sciences. Applicants must be Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or New Zealand citizens.
