An exciting opportunity exists for a Digital Health Associate to contribute to the development of electronic decision support tools for use in primary care in multiple countries.
This role is full-time, however we would consider part-time at 0.6FTE-0.8FTE for the right candidate.
To achieve this you will:
- Identify key local clinical guidelines for specific disease areas
- Translate clinical guidelines into plain language algorithms
- Liaise with internal and external expert content advisory groups to revise algorithms as required
- Keep up to date with clinical guidelines within relevant areas of disease focus, and correspondingly, apply updates to existing algorithms
- Liaise with the George Institute algorithms administrator to implement plain language algorithms into our bespoke software
- Work with our public or commercial implementation partners to develop customised or bespoke algorithms and co-develop clinical workflow adaptations to maximise the value of the algorithms
Your success will be based on a range of skills and experience:
- Degree in Medicine
- Exceptional ability to think logically and systematically
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent written English skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
- Clinical experience working in a health system would be desirable
- Experience working in chronic non-communicable diseases advantageous
- Experience with Microsoft Visio, or other process mapping applications would be highly regarded
