Biostatistics and Economic Evaluation

Established in 2012, the Biostatistics and Economic Evaluation Unit provides comprehensive services to support all research undertaken by the George Institute both locally and globally. It also offers statistics services to external institutions and pharmaceutical companies on a contract basis.

With combined experience in the design and analysis of epidemiology, clinical research and health surveys the unit supports various research projects and provides general advice on a wide range of subjects and fields. These include medical statistics methodology, cardiology, clinical and sub-clinical research, neurology, electrophysiology, primary and secondary prevention, drug or medical device clinical trials, sleep medicine, environmental pollution, test tube babies and more.
