Michael Swain is PhD student in the Musculoskeletal Division at the George Institute, Sydney, Australia. He is a registered Chiropractor and is a Lecturer in Chiropractic at Macquarie University.
His research area is the epidemiology of musculoskeletal disorders in children and adolescents. He is particularly interested in the role of growth, development and physical activity in predicting adolescent musculoskeletal pain. Michael holds a Master of Philosophy and Chiropractic coursework credentials from Macquarie University.
Michael is a member of the Chiropractic and Osteopathic College of Australasia; is a member of the Chiropractors’ Association of Australia; and is a member of The International Federation of Sports Chiropractic.
