Matthew Stevens is a PhD student in the Musculoskeletal Division at the George Institute, Sydney, Australia. He is a registered Chiropractor and a Tutor in Chiropractic at Macquarie University.
His research area is low back pain and the relationship between physical activity and pain and disability. He is particularly interested in how the way in which we move influences pain and disability. Matthew holds Chiropractic coursework credentials from Macquarie University and a Masters in Clinical Epidemiology from The University of Sydney.
Matthew is a member of the Chiropractic and Osteopathic College of Australasia; the Chiropractors’ Association of Australia; The International Federation of Sports Chiropractic; and Sports Medicine Australia.
