Dr Carolyn Broderick
Carolyn Broderick is a research fellow at The George Institute, and a staff specialist in paediatric sport & exercise medicine at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. She is also a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of New South Wales.
Her PhD was in the area of physical activity in children with haemophilia.
Carolyn is medical director of the Australian Team for the Youth Olympic Games in 2014 and is the team physician for the Australian Fed Cup tennis team. She was a team physician for the Australian Olympic Team at the Sydney 2000 & London 2012 Olympic Games and is a member of the Australian Olympic Committee Medical Commission. She is also a member of the Australian Sports Drug Medical Advisory Committee (ASDMAC).
Her research areas include sports injury surveillance in youth sport and physical activity in children with chronic disease.
